Cossall Parish Council to send photos of the mud and stones on Newtons Lane to Broxtowe Borough Council Officers and ask why there is no wheel washer on site. This email to also be copied to Borough Councillors and Notts County Councillors.
Cossall Parish Council subsequently had the following reply –
“As long as the developers provide either regular road sweeps or jet washing facilities, the developer is not in breach of the Construction Management Plan. Any soil / debris coming from the wheels of the vehicles that is impacting the highway should be brought to the attention of the Highways Authority. A site visit will be carried out next week by an Enforcement Officer to monitor the site, and further unannounced visits will take place to monitor this situation”.
